Woman gangraped by miscreants who had come to loot valuables

Police said though the incident took place on February 23, the matter came to light after a complaint regarding the incident was lodged at the Brahmani Tarang police station on February 25 night.

Miscreants steal 2.5 lakh from car in Ghumar Mandi

In a broad daylight theft incident, some unidentified miscreants stole a bag containing cash after smashing the windowpane of a car in Ghumar Mandi on Friday. They later fled from the spot unnoticed due to heavy rush owing to festivities. However, on being informed the Division Number 8 police reached the site of the incident and stated the investigation.

Vandalism by miscreants disrupts Punjabi song’s shooting in Ludhiana

A group of miscreants, armed with sticks, baseball bats and sharp-edged weapons, disrupted the shooting of a Punjabi song’s video at a private farm house near Rajgarh Estate on Saturday. The accused vandalised CCTV cameras installed at the farm house and also damaged a drone camera.

In Puri district, miscreants hurl bombs at BJP candidate’s house

BJP’s candidate for Pipili assembly constituency, Ashrit Pattanayak was at his residence in Kamakantia village of Puri district when an unidentified man hurled bombs at his main door. The main gate of the house as well as a portion of the door was damaged in the incident, officials said.
