Days after the University Grants Commission’s (UGC’s) Distance Education Bureau (DEB) found Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, “ineligible” to offer online and distance learning programmes for 2025-26, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has issued a notice extending accreditation validity for institutions whose RAF-based accreditation expired or was due to expire during the transition to the new Maturity-Based Graded Levels (MBGL) system.
