Technical glitches lead to postponement of Mumbai University’s distance education exam again

After receiving flak from students, many of whom also gathered at the university’s Kalina campus on Tuesday evening, IDOL released a statement postponing the day’s exam due to “technical reasons”.

DU’s School of Open Learning, NCWEB to have semester system of exam, executive council approves

After the introduction of semester system under the Choice Based Credit System scheme to NCWEB for undergraduate students, the semester examination shall be conducted at par with the regular students and all teaching centres of NCWEB shall be the examination centre for its students.

Delhi University’s transgender Centre fails to attract aspirants

It has been over six months since the centre was established at Delhi University’s North Campus to offer counselling to transgender students. No transgender student enrolled in a regular course this year.

Recognise open, distance degrees for recruitments: Government to PSUs

The HRD Ministry wrote to the Department of Public Enterprises saying it has been receiving complaints about PSUs not recognising degrees /diplomas acquired in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode for the purpose of employment.
