Two terrorists held in Ramban grenade blast case: J&K Police

The attack was targeted at the Ind police post and two personnel had suffered minor injuries in the blast. Ramban’s senior superintendent of police, Mohita Sharma, identified the arrested duo as Shah Din Padyar and Mohammad Farooq, both residents of Gool area in the district.

A joint rescue team by police and the Army was deployed around midnight but 'shooting stones' – pieces of rock and debris that roll down a mountainside at speed - have hindered rescue operations.

Jammu-Srinagar national highway reopens after landslide debris cleared

Now reopened, the traffic on Jammu-Srinagar national highway was suspended on Saturday after heavy rains triggered landslides and shooting of stones from the hillocks overlooking the highway at several places between Ramban and Ramsu including Cafeteria Morh and Panthiyal.
