She became famous with her lead role in Wizards of Waverly Place. She has starred in numerous films like Another Cinderella Story, The Fundamentals of Caring, A Rainy Day in New York, Monte Carlo to name a few. She released her first album with her band, Selena Gomez & the Scene in 2009. She was conferred with Billboard's Woman of the Year in 2017. She has also served as the ambassador for UNICEF since the age of 17.
