Two militants were killed and a soldier lost his life on Friday morning after a gun battle at Malganipora, Behrampora on the outskirts of the Sopore town, an official said.

A gunfight ensued after the militants opened fire on the forces in Malganipora area of Sopore. Two militants and an army soldier were killed in the encounter, army spokesman Col Rajesh Kalia said.
