‘Off-the-charts adorable’: Giant panda cub plays with its mama, video goes viral
The video of the giant panda cub prompted people to share all sorts of love-filled comments.
Videos that showcase various antics of the baby animals are too cute to handle. Period. Case in point, a clip shared on Instagram which shows a giant panda cub named Xiao Qi Ji playing with his mama Mei Xiang.
The video is shared on Smithsonian’s National Zoo’s official Instagram page. “Giant panda Xiao Qi Ji is practicing his pounces. On a scale of 1 to 10, we’d say this play session between our cub and mom Mei Xiang is off-the-charts adorable,” reads the caption shared along with the video.
The clip opens to show the panda cub sitting on top of his mother. We won’t give away too much, so take a look to see what happens next:
Since being shared a little over 17 hours ago, the video has gained nearly 68,000 views and the numbers are only increasing. It has also received tons of comments.
“Mei Xiang is just a great mom,” wrote an Instagram user. “He’s getting big,” shared another. “He is so cute,” commented a third.
