Popular influencers Dalton Ain't Worried and his wife, Sako, have been the subject of intense speculations since last weekend. Claims that Sako and Dalton have separated and that Dalton allegedly abused Sako went viral. Amidst all the talk, Dalton has opened up.
In a new video across his social media handles on Tuesday, the content creator from West Virginia, whose real name is Dalton Joseph Mermel, spoke about the ongoing internet chatter about him and his wife, Sako. The discussion seems to have been triggered by a video Dalton posted earlier purportedly talking about his relationship trouble with Sako.
After the video, the internet dug up arrest records from Wood County, West Virginia, in a domestic dispute case. Though the viral arrest records do not state the name of the complainant, many on social media assumed that it was Sako. So much so that many claimed Dalton may have harmed, even killed Sako. The rumors were fueled by Sako and Dalton not appearing in videos together recently.
After friends and associates dismissed the claims, Dalton Mermel himself opened up in a fresh video Tuesday.
What Dalton Ain't Worried Said About Sako
Dalton Ain't Worried slammed the online speculation about the troubles in his marriage with Sako, the allegations that he has started using drugs amid marriage troubles, and claims that the February 2026 domestic dispute arrest involved Sako. He clarified that the domestic dispute arrest in February was not related to Sako.
"I tell everybody my mother's got cancer, she ain't got long to live, and then I say I got something else going on in my life and I didn't really speak on that," Dalton said. "And because I didn't speak on that, some people now think I'm some kind of domestic violencer and that I'm an abuser. All because people started doing some digging and they found out that I was a part of some DV issue back in February.
"People think because it's a domestic issue that I was abusing Sako and that I'm a piece of s***. And although that is not true, I can understand why they think that. Because f*** you if you ever have abused a woman. We don't put up with that in this house," he added.
What Happened Between Dalton And Sako?
Dalton went on to explain what happened between him and Sako that prompted him to make the earlier video - which kickstarted all the rumors. "That was one of them deals where me and Sako and our friends and family are kind of ornery, and we had a little bit too much to drink and shit happened and I wish it didn't," he said. However, he did not say anything about a possible divorce - something social media has speculated for long.
"And then you got all the people making videos about me, making fun of me for crying, saying I staged the whole thing for views," the content creator continued.
"People are also saying I relapsed and I'm back on drugs," he said. "And to be honest with you, none of that really bothers me because it's being said by a bunch of people who are nobodies and have nothing better to do with their life than talk about me and that's kind of sad."
Are Dalton And Sako Still Together?
"As far as things go with Sako, I'm gonna tell you like it is. Me and Sako are two real people, and we got real human problems just like everybody else," Dalton said
"You'll never hear me say a bad word about Sako. "She is the mother of my child, my wife, and my best friend. And I love her to death, man. And that's all I'm gonna say about that."
Dalton added that it bothered him when "people were saying I did something so awful that I got my son taken away from me. This is the most important thing in my life." You can make fun of me for anything you want. But what you'll never say is that I'm not a good dad.
"Oh, and if you thought something happened to Bubby (their son). Bubby's majestic, okay? He'll be around this place forever."
