Bigg Boss fooling its fans by posting stock photos as pictures of contestants

Bigg Boss is asking people to guess the contestants through photos posted on their Twitter page, which is cool except they are all stock images.

On Tuesday, we reported that Bigg Boss is running a small quiz on their official Twitter handle, asking fans to guess the contestants on the show’s upcoming season 11 from a photo. Fans put their thinking caps on and found out that the photo was that of an English model.

Bigg Boss’s official Twitter handle posted an edited and cropped version of this picture on Tuesday, hinting that she was a contestant on season 11.

However, the photo they posted on Wednesday is a bit more difficult to figure out. It shows a man covering his face with a thought bubble and holding an iPhone in his hand. Many fans thought him to be YouTuber Harsh Beniwal but a quick reverse image search revealed something else.

Turns out, the photo posted by the show is a stock image from Shutterstock. The man in it is an ‘Afro American’ according to the description on the image.

Now, it feels like quite a stretch that they’d invite a Shutterstock model into the Bigg Boss home. So was the picture from Monday a trick to fool the fans as well? It was.

A fan also figured out the same and posted the photo on the original Twitter thread as well.

Bigg Boss will return in October with its 11th season which will be themed around ‘neighbours’. Actor Salman Khan will return as the show host.
