Friends star David Schwimmer to return in sitcom Irreversible

The 47-year-old actor, who played Ross Geller of NBC's Friends, will be taking on the lead role of a pessimistic writer in ABC sitcom Irreversible, reported Ace Showbiz.

Schwimmer has also been set as the executive produce the show.
The sitcom is based upon hit Israeli series Bilti Hafich.
Segahl Avin, who created the original version, will write the script and may direct the pilot. He will also serve as executive producer along with Peter Tolan.
