Bollywood beauty Chitrangda Singh wants to thank actor Aamir Khan for raising pertinent issues on his show, Satyamev Jayate. Chitrangada, who is in Singapore for International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards, says she’s impressed with the show.

“I didn’t get a chance to watch the show on TV, so caught it on YouTube. Aamir is using his power as a celeb to spread awareness about issues and I really thank him for doing that,” said Chitrangda, adding, “Such is the impact that we may have a bill against child sexual abuse. That’s great.”

Looking stunning in a red number, she was mobbed by fans around her hotel, but says, “I don’t take the attention seriously. Today, I met people like Kamal Haasan, Liv Ullman and Shabana Azmi. There is so much more cinema to do...Something like what Dibakar (Banerjee) does. His films affect you. I want to do that, as well as a film like Desi Boyz.”
