Judges meet with mishap

After Terence Lewis’s reported illness, choreographers Remo D’Souza and Geeta Kapoor have met with an accident in Kolkata while they were in the city to conduct auditions for the show.

Dance India Dance Season 2 on Zee TV doesn’t seem to have taken off to a ‘positive’ start. After Terence Lewis’s reported illness, choreographers Remo D’Souza and Geeta Kapoor have met with an accident in Kolkata while they were in the city to conduct auditions for the show.

The choreographer team was shooting a scooter sequence before the actual auditions with a sidecar attached to the two-wheeler. Kapoor was in the sidecar and D’Souza on the scooter when he lost control and ran it over a road divider. An eyewitness reveals that the two toppled along with the scooter and were rushed immediately to a nearby hospital where they were kept under observation for two days.

Said Ashish Golwalkar from the non-fiction programming team of Zee, “We’re trying to finish things within the preset time frame so that we can start the show soon. Geeta has hurt her back quite badly. Remo has multiple fractures in one of his legs.”
