Upma no more? Karishma Tanna, Upen Patel part ways

It clearly is the season of break ups in showbiz - after Arbaaz-Malaika and Sushant-Ankita, reality TV stars Karishma Tanna and Upen Patel, too have decided to part ways.

Upen confirmed the break-up in a Twitter post. “Me and Karishma have both agreed to part ways. Thank you for all your love,” read his tweet. The couple was fondly known as Upma inside the Bigg Boss house.

However, Patel deleted the tweet by Sunday. He continued to tweet dejected and sad messages nonetheless.

Around the same time as Upen tweeted, came 32-year-old actress’ post on her page that read, “When you find no solution to a problem, it’s probably not a problem to be solved. But, rather a truth to be accepted.”

The pair began dating in 2014 on the season eight of reality show Bigg Boss 8. They got engaged last year, when Upen, 33, proposed to the actress on dance show Nach Baliye 7, where they were participants. The duo planned get married soon.
