British glamour model Katie Price has been offered upto half a million pounds to appear in the reality show I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.

The reality TV star has been offered 4,50,000 pounds to return to the series which revolves around a group of celebrities stranded in a jungle without any of the luxuries they are used to, reported Daily Mail online.

Bosses at ITV, producers of the show believe that the move would be "ratings dynamite" and give the show a massive publicity boost.

"It will at least be not on the first night and she will enter the jungle unannounced. It is very cheeky and very bold. The advantage of it is that it will keep her on the front page day after day for two-and-a-half weeks without actually having to do anything," said a source.

The model better known as 'Jordan' had met her ex-husband, Mysterious Girl singer Peter Andre while participating in the 2004 edition of the show.

With her marriage to Andre over, the 34-year-old may be given another chance for a wilderness romance. The model's last appearance on the show proved interesting viewing as the nation watched her growing closeness to pop star Peter Andre.

She paraded around the jungle in a white bikini, an attention-grabbing tactic which has since been copied by many of the contestants in subsequent series.
