Actress Narayani Shastri, who is making her Bollywood debut in ‘good friend’ Rahul Aggarwal’s film Na Ghar Ke Na Ghaat Ke, got quite a shocker at his birthday party recently when her co-star from the film, Paresh Rawal, did not recognise her.

, got quite a shocker at his birthday party recently when her co-star from the film, Paresh Rawal, did not recognise her.

In the film, Shastri plays a shy Indian village girl, clad in

saris

throughout. At the party, however, the actress was glamorously dressed, which clearly took Rawal by surprise.

Says Shastri, “I am dressed in Indian outfits in the movie, so Paresh didn’t recognise me in a western outfit. When Rahul told him it was me, he actually looked surprised. I had to tell him I’m Narayani.”
