A source says, “Purab has been planning to bring the entire cast of the show together for a very long time. They want to shoot a video, which will remind people of the show.”

When contacted, Purab says, “Ever since Hip Hip Hurray ended, in 1999, we have managed to do only one reunion at Vinay’s (Pathak, actor) house a couple of years back. Even at that time, everyone could not make it, as some people now live in different cities. It will be fun to have another reunion. We have already started chatting about it, and we will organise it soon.”

Purab to go underground

Actors often become reclusive, avoid any social media activity, and don’t make any public appearances while they’re preparing for certain characters. Purab Kohli is the latest Bollywood actor to hop on to this bandwagon. He will play the role of a war prisoner in an upcoming television series, which will be directed by Nikkhil Advani. To prepare for it, Purab has decided to distance himself from his friends and family for a few days before the shoot begins in June.

A source says, “Such prisoners are not kept in ordinary jails, but in dark cubicles. They are not allowed to interact with the outside world. Purab plans to go to Goa and stay there alone for a few days to understand the mental state of a person who is not in contact with anyone.”
