Ranvir Shorey joins Gauahar, Kushal for Khatron Ke Khiladi

After successful stints with Ranvir Vinay Aur Kaun and The Great Indian Comedy Show, Shorey returns to the small screen with Khatron Ke Khiladi, hosted by Rohit Shetty. LIST OF CONTESTANTS

After a successful stint on TV with the talk show, Ranvir Vinay Aur Kaun and The Great Indian Comedy Show, actor Ranvir Shorey moved on to Bollywood.

He was seen in movies like Mithya (2008), Aaja Nachle (2007), Bheja Fry (2007), Khosla Ka Ghosla (2006) and Mixed Doubles (2006), among others. And now, news is that he will soon be back on the small screen with the adventure reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi. The fifth season of the show will be shot in South Africa in February and hosted by director Rohit Shetty.

A source from the industry says, "Ranvir wanted to go for an adventure holiday after turning 40, but was unable to do so. This show was a good opportunity for him to try his hand at some stunts."

Ranvir has had a lull in his career of late and this surely will bring him back into the limelight. The source adds, "Apparently he took the show up as he wanted to do something different. He is not really an exercise junkie, but he is looking forward to the show."

Other contestants on the show include Nikitin Dheer, Dayanand Shetty, Kushal Tandon, Rajniesh Duggall and Salman Yusuf Khan, among the men. The girls’ team will feature Mugdha Godse, Gauahar Khan, Geeta Tandon, Mahi Vij, Rochelle Maria Rao and Pooja Gor.
