The actor, who plays the role of Deepak in TV serial Sasural Genda Phool has been compared to Saif Ali Khan and has even evoked comparisions with yesteryear hero Shashi Kapoor. Apparently, people around including co-ordinators, who have circulated his photos have often mistaken him for the dashing actor of the ’70s and think that he may even be related to him in some manner.

We wonder what veteran Shashi Kapoor has to say about all this. On his part, the young Akshay feels his changing looks are a god-given gift. he adds that he goes through such makeovers without any effort.
