Former Miss India and actress Sonu Walia is making a comeback, on the small screen. She will be seen in a comedy show, Chal Chanchal Chal.

Former Miss India and actress Sonu Walia is making a comeback, on the small screen. She will be seen in a comedy show, Chal Chanchal Chal. Reveals Abhimanyu Singh, head of Contiloe Films which is producing the show, “We considered many names, but Sonu fitted it best. I am hoping the show takes off and she comes back in a big way.”

Though, Singh refuses to disclose the name of the channel the show is likely to air on, sources say the producers are awaiting the approval of a pilot from channels, Sony and SAB. If all goes well, it may hit the screen by April 25.

Actor Rakesh Bedi, who shot the show’s pilot with Walia, says, “It was a pleasure shooting with her. She hasn’t lost her touch.” Walia remained unavailable for comment.
