The White House and the CIA have denied reports that claimed U.S. President Joe Biden offered 20% of Ukraine's territory to Russia in a peace proposal to end the war. A report in Swiss-German newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ) claimed that CIA Director William J. Burns took a secret trip to Moscow in January and offered the alleged peace proposal on behalf of the White House. The report further states that both Kyiv and Moscow rejected the proposal.
