In another embarrassing gaffe, United States President Joe Biden called Israel’s impending assault on Rafah “our military operation”. The awkward ‘slip of tongue' took place during Biden’s remarks after his meeting with Jordan King Abdullah II at the White House in Washington. “The King and I also discussed the situation in Rafah. As I said yesterday, our military operation in Rafah – their – the major military operation in Rafah,” Biden corrected himself mid-sentence.
