Cockpit view of IAF flypast, Rafale woman pilot:Many firsts at 73rd R-Day Parade

On the 73rd Republic Day, India celebrated 75 years of freedom with an iconic parade at Rajpath in New Delhi. The Indian Air Force's flypast was one of the numerous firsts seen at the spectacular Republic Day parade. The grand finale featured the largest flypast ever, with 75 Indian Air Force aircraft performing a variety of formations. For the first time, the nation felt like they were in the cockpit while watching the Republic Day flypast on their televisions, smartphones, or laptops. The footage from the cameras onboard the planes that took part in the flypast provides an insight into what the pilots witnessed from their cockpits. At the flypast, vintage and modern aircraft such as the Rafale, Sukhoi, Jaguar, Mi-17, Sarang, Apache, and Dakota performed various formations, including the Rahat, Meghna, Eklavya, Trishul, Tiranga, Vijay, and Amrit. Meanwhile, India's first woman pilot to fly a Rafale fighter jet, Shivangi Singh, was part of the Indian Air Force tableau. Shivangi is the second female fighter jet pilot to be part of the IAF tableau, after Bhawna Kanth, who became the first female fighter jet pilot to be part of the IAF tableau.
