Doctors protest at Hyderabad hospital after alleged assault by kin of dead

Junior doctors in Hyderabad protested after one of the co-worker was assaulted at a hospital on Tuesday night. Kin of a Covid-19 patient allegedly assaulted the junior doctor after the patient died on Tuesday. Junior doctors staged a protest in the hospital campus demanding justice and safety. The 55-year-old patient had died on Tuesday at around 6.30 pm. Doctors continued their protest on Wednesday. The Police arrested two people in connection with the attack on the doctor.
