Rihanna makes history as first black woman to cover British Vogue’s September issue
Rihanna is making history. She’s the first black woman to cover the September issue of British Vogue.
The September issue is regarded as the most important of the year in fashion magazines.
The singer was photographed by fashion photographer Nick Knight and styled by Vogue’s editor-in-chief Edward Enninful.
This is Enninful’s first September issue as Vogue’s new editor after taking over for Alexandra Shulman.
Rihanna tweeted that she was “so honored” to make the cover.
