10% quota in higher education from academic year 2019: HRD Minister

HRD Minister, Prakash Javadekar said the Central Government has announced that the 10 percent quota for economically backward upper castes will be implemented in all educational institutions from the academic year 2019. “10% reservation quota for economically-weaker sections will be implemented in all educational institutions from the academic year 2019,” Javadekar told the mediapersons in the national capital.
