Ahead of elections, Modi says Congress is certain to lose in Karnataka
National leaders of both the BJP and the Congress have been frequenting poll-bound Karnataka. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, one of the strongest campaigners of the ruling party, has also started campaigning in the state. Recently, he addressed a farmers’ convention along with the party’s chief ministerial candidate B.S. Yeddyurappa. He spoke about the Minimum Support Price policy of his government and said that despite ruling for 48 years, Congress couldn’t give the assurance to the farmers that they will get full price for their produce. The Prime Minister also said that the Siddaramaiah-led Congress government in Karnataka is set to lose the upcoming elections.
