Beat govt officers with shoes if they show disrespect: BJP MLA to party cadre

A Bharatiya Janata Party legislator from Uttar Pradesh sparked a controversy with an open threat to government officials. MLA Ramratan Kushwaha told party workers that if they are disrespected by government officers, then they must take off their shoes and beat the latter up. He also accused government officials of having an 'SP-BSP mindset' and harassing BJP cadre during the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections.
