Bharat Bandh: TMC & SFI clash; vandalisation in parts of West Bengal

Clashes & violence were reported from some parts of West Bengal during the Bharat bandh called by 10 trade unions. SFI and TMC workers came to blows in Burdwan, while a bus was vandalised in the Cooch Behar area of North Bengal. Protesters also stormed railways tracks in Barrackpore area and anti-Modi government slogans were raised by protesters. Trade unions have called for a strike against the ' anti-worker' policies of the Modi government.
