CAA protest: Bhim Army chief sent to 14-day judicial custody by Delhi court

Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Azad's bail application was dismissed by a Delhi court. Tis Hazari court sent Azad to 14-day judicial custody. He was denied permission for a protest march at Delhi's Jama Masjid. Azad was arrested by police after being detained from outside the historic mosque. The Bhim Army chief had escaped police at Jama Masjid amid anti-CAA protests. He was earlier seen protesting at Jama Masjid on December 20. Azad claimed that he had been protesting peacefully.
