Delhi’s air quality deteriorates; govt shares NASA’s crop burning images
Air quality in New Delhi recorded in ‘Unhealthy Category’ on October 17. According to AQI, major pollutants PM 2.5 was at 229 and PM 10 at 229 in Lodhi Road. At ITI Shahdra, air quality was recorded in ‘Hazardous’ category at 10 am. Incidents of stubble burning in Haryana and Punjab have increased. NASA satellite imagery warned that air pollution is set to worsen in Delhi.
