Days ahead of Raj Thackeray's rally, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has erected controversial hoardings in Maharashtra's Raigad. The hoarding, which sports Raj and his son Amit Thackeray's photographs, issues a warning to illegal migrants from Bangladesh. The hoarding says that the migrants must leave or else face eviction with 'MNS-style action'. On February 9, Thackeray has planned a rally against illegal immigration. Meanwhile, his estranged cousin, Uddhav Thackeray, who is the incumbent Chief Minister, has opposed a pan-India NRC while supporting CAA.
