about the video
Despite the ban on old currency notes by the central government on Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 on November 8, 2016, notes are still being recovered in large numbers. Four people were held with over Rs 3.5 crore in old currency notes at Gujarat’s Navsari. The banned notes were discovered after 2 years of demonetization. Police seized the old currency notes from a car. The incident has been reported to the state’s excise officials. Further investigations are underway. (Hindustan Times)
