Heavy rains hit Kerala, ops at Kochi airport suspended till Sunday afternoon

Kerala has been reeling under heavy rains that claimed lives of at least 20. Flight operations at Kochi airport have been suspended till Sunday afternoon. On Thursday, Kerala Met office sounded a red alert. As many as 13,000 people were evacuated and taken to over 60 relief camps on Thursday. The rescue operations had to be suspended on Thursday night due to bad weather.
