Heavy snowfall in J&K throws life out of gear, Srinagar-Jammu highway shut

Srinagar-Jammu National Highway was closed due to snowfall. Several vehicles were stranded due to closure of 270-km-long highway. It is the only road connecting Kashmir Valley with rest of the nation. Meanwhile, sale of fur shoes is skyrocketing in Srinagar markets. The fur shoes are in huge demand due to severe cold and heavy snowfall.
