Rebel Janata Dal (Secular) leader Narayana Gowda accused the Congress-JD(S) government in Karnataka of failing on the development front. Gowda, who is camping in a Mumbai hotel, is one of the 13 lawmakers from the ruling coalition who quit recently, putting the government in peril. He said that the lawmakers would visit temples and shop before returning home. Meanwhile, the Congress held a meeting in Bengaluru and threatened to seek disqualification of the MLAs who had quit unless they returned to the party fold.
