‘Lies & deceit’: India slams Pak’s ‘interference’ over J&K | Art 370

The Indian government criticised Pakistan for its 'irresponsible' statements regarding Jammu and Kashmir. Spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs, Raveesh Kumar, said that Pakistan had been using 'lies' and 'deceit', and interfering in India's internal affairs. Amid the combative rhetoric, Islamabad also tested a nuclear-capable missile, 'Ghaznavi'. India said that Pakistan had informed it about the test. Pakistan has vowed to internationalise the issue of Jammu and Kashmir, following the abrogation of the region's special status by the Narendra Modi government.
