My BJP entry rumours planted by vested interests: Digambar Kamat
Former Goa Chief Minister & Congress MLA Digambar Kamat dismisses rumours of joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He said that the rumours were planted by vested interests for unknown purpose. Digambar also spoke about the current CM situation and said, “I am least bothered about the leadership and chief ministership. If it is in my destiny, nobody can take it. This is my policy, so I don’t care.” Goa chief minister Manohar Parrikar (63) died at his Panaji residence on Sunday evening just over a year after he was detected with cancer. Parrikar was suffering from advanced pancreatic cancer and had been in and out of hospitals in Goa, Mumbai, New York and New Delhi over the past year.
