PM Modi embarks on tour to France, UAE & Bahrain; will attend G7 summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on his three-nation tour of France, United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. Apart from the bilateral engagements, he will also be attending the G7 summit in France's Biarritz. During his France visit, PM Modi and President Emmanuel Macron are expected to focus on defence, energy and trade ties. In UAE, PM Modi will be conferred with the nation's highest honour, the Order of Zayed. Modi's visit to Bahrain will be the first ever by an Indian Prime Minister.
