Rahul Gandhi addressed public rally in Itanagar kick-starting poll campaign in Arunachal Pradesh.The Congress president made a fresh attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over Pulwama terror attack. He said, “On the day of the attack, I cancelled my program but PM Modi was making his movie at Corbett Park.” Rahul Gandhi also promised to restore special category status to Arunachal Pradesh and other states in northeast if the party is voted to power. Gandhi said that during previous Congress regime, Arunachal Pradesh and other states in NE used to enjoy special status, but it was revoked after BJP-led NDA came to power in 2014.
