Rajnath urges Russia to jointly manufacture defence equipments in India

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh urged Russian firms to jointly manufacture defence equipments in India. Rajnath said that the Indian government is encouraging Orignal Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to make use of the 'Make in India' initiative. He was addressing the CEOs of OEMs from the Russian defence industry. The defence minister is on a three-day visit to Russia and will also meet his Russian counterpart.
