‘Union Budget 2020 simplifies tax structure’: Revenue Secretary

Revenue Secretary Ajay Bhushan Pandey spoke on the Union Budget 2020. Pandey said that tax collection structure has been simplified. He said, “We thought of a transparent and simple service to calculate tax for filing. We also provided a choice to those who want to use the older structure. Those individuals, who didn't avail exemptions earlier, will now benefit from the new tax system.”
