‘To be treated as terrorist’: Senior J&K cop caught with Hizb terrorists
A senior officer of Jammu and Kashmir Police was caught with terrorists on January 11, 2020. Inspector General of Police, Kashmir, Vijay Kumar confirmed the development while addressing the press on Sunday. Kumar revealed that a Deputy Superintendent-rank officer had been caught with two terrorists in a car leaving Shopian. DSP Davinder Singh will be dealt with ‘as a terrorist’, the force confirmed. The terrorists who were caught include Hizbul Mujahideen’s second-in-command, Naveed Babu, who was also a constable in J&K Police till he fled with four rifles in 2017 and joined the terrorists.
