Unnao rape victim dies, DCW chief appeals govt ‘to hang rapists within a month’

Unnao rape victim died a day after she was set ablaze by five men in Uttar Pradesh. The victim, who was admitted to Delhi's Safdarjung hospital, died due to cardiac arrest. She had suffered 90% burns after Thursday's assault. Delhi Commission For Women's Chief Swati Maliwal has, meanwhile, appealed both the central and state government to hang the rapists within a month.
