Watch: Actor & former Congress leader Urmila Matondkar joins Shiv Sena

Actor turned politician Urmila Matondkar has now joined the Shiv Sena. Urmila, who contested the Lok Sabha polls in 2019 from Mumbai North on a Congress ticket, was inducted into the party in the presence of Uddhav Thackeray. Urmila's former party, the Congress, is a part of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government in the state along with Shiv Sena. Urmila had blamed the 'petty in-house politics' in the Congress for her decision to quit the party. Some reports suggest Matondkar's name was forwarded to Governor B S Koshyari by the Shiv Sena recently for nomination to the Legislative Council from the governor's quota. Urmila had also earlier lashed out at Kangana Ranaut for her 'Mumbai-PoK' remark. Watch the full video for all the details.
