Watch: Rahul Gandhi felicitates Kerala fishermen

Congress President Rahul Gandhi felicitated Kerala fishermen who carried out rescue operations during floods in the state.Fisherman Jaisal KP who offered his back to help people board rescue boats was also felicitated. Earlier Rahul met flood survivors in the relief camps of Chengannur, Alapuzha and Ernakulam. Rahul Gandhi has been demanding that the Centre declare Kerala floods as a national disaster. Rahul Gandhi also said that the floods in Kerala revealed “two distinct ideas of India” as he met people in the districts hit hardest by the natural disaster which killed hundreds of people, left dozens missing and pushed about a million to relief camps.
