Watch why farmers’ group spilled milk on the streets of Sangli

Farmers group Swabhimani Shetkari Sangahatana captured milk trucks and dumped the milk on the streets as a mark of protest. They have been demanding an increase in the procurement price of milk by 5 rupees. They have also demanded an export subsidy of Rs 3o for the farmers and cancellation of GST on milk products.
