Anna Hazare announces Jail Bharo Andolan

Reacting on central government's rejection on the demand of issuing an official notification to constitute the Joint committee for formulation of Lokpal Bill, Anna Hazare announced countrywide Jail Bharo Andolan agitation on April 13. Continuing his fast-unto-death for the fourth consecutive day, relentless Hazare said the people would teach the government a lesson by joining the 'Jail Bharo' agitation urging the citizens to follow the path of non- violence as taught by Mahatma Gandhi.
