Captain Lakshmi Sehgal’s organs donated for medical research

A large number of people and politicians participated in the funeral procession of veteran freedom fighter Captain Lakshmi Sehgal on Tuesday as her body was taken to the GSVM medical college in Kanpur for research. She was recently admitted in a Kanpur hospital following a cardiac arrest, and was put on a life support system, where she breathed her last on July 23rd.
