Nation pays homage to Mahatma Gandhi

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh led the country on Saturday in paying homage to iconic freedom fighter, Mahatma Gandhi, on his 141st birth anniversary in New Delhi. Singh, who was joined by other senior leaders like Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, President Pratibha Devisingh Patil, Vice-President Hamid Ansari, BJP's senior leader LK Advani and US ambassador to India Timothy Roemer, paid floral tribute at Gandhi's memorial at Rajghat.
