New Year revelers resolve to shun drinking liquor

New Year revelers strike a different and bizarre note in Rajasthan as they took a resolution to shun drinking liquor and take to drinking milk in the New Year. A particular section of the youth in Jaipur, celebrates the New Year in a different style as they gather in large numbers to consume milk even as liquor flows elsewhere. Interestingly, people are urged to drink milk distributed free of cost in an attempt to develop healthy drinking habits.
